Ellen Godfrey was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. After over 20 years as an instructional designer and corporate trainer in the insurance industry, she left to spend more time caring for her family including her elderly mother. Ellen joined Greystone Chiropractic in 2017 and became certified as a Clinical Thermographic Technician. She has a passion for supporting and encouraging women to get and stay healthy, both physically and emotionally.
In 2012, after over 20 years of struggling unsuccessfully to manage her Crohn’s Disease, her husband, Dennis, convinced her to try chiropractic. After several weeks in care, she began noticing steady and significant improvement. Today, she continues receiving regular adjustments and has fully embraced a healthy lifestyle. She frequently tells her story and credits chiropractic with giving her her life back.
Ellen and her husband, Dennis live in Chelsea, attend A2 Church, and actively support various children’s charities and promote and encourage animal rescue and responsible pet ownership. They currently share their home with Ellen’s 91-year-old mother, Charlotte, seven cats (Merlin Maggie, Molly, Mia, Morgan, Minnie, and Max) and three dogs (Sophie, Rolex, and Scout).
